How to Shop at Straw Cat Cards: A Collector’s Guide

Welcome to the crew! Whether you’re hunting for a high-end Manga Alt-Art or looking to fill out your sports PC, we’ve made our shopping experience as smooth and secure as a PSA 10. Here is everything you need to know about navigating the shop.

 

Step 1: Browsing the Collection

Our store is organized by Series and Set to help you find your treasure fast.

  • Search & Filter: Use the search bar for specific card names or filter our collections by "Graded vs. Raw," "Rarity," or "Price."

  • High-Res Scans (WORK IN PROGRESS): Every card listing features high-resolution scans or photos of the exact card you will receive. 

  • Condition Notes  (WORK IN PROGRESS): Check the product description for our detailed assessment of corners, edges, and surface quality.

 

Step 2: Sending an Offer 

Love a card but have a different price in mind? We believe the hobby is about the deal!

  • The "Make Offer" Button: On most product pages, you’ll see a "Make an Offer" button. Click it to submit your best price.

  • Be Reasonable: We keep our prices competitive with recent market data (TCGPlayer). Reasonable offers are usually accepted or countered within a few hours!

  • Bundling: If you want to buy 3+ cards, don't send individual offers. Instead, use the Shopify Inbox (see below) to ask for a "Bundle Quote" to save on both the cards and shipping. 

 

Step 3: Real-Time Help with Shopify Inbox 

Have a question before you pull the trigger? Look for the Chat Bubble in the bottom corner of your screen.

  • Ask for Photos: Want to see the back corners under a specific light? Just ask! We can send additional photos or videos directly through the chat.

  • Check Availability: If you’re looking for a specific card not listed on the site, shoot us a message. We may have it in our unlisted inventory.

  • Direct Access: When you chat, you’re talking directly to me (Deondre). I’m here to make sure you’re 100% confident before you buy.

 

Step 4: The Checkout Process

Once you’ve found your cards, checkout is fast and secure.

  • Secure Payments: We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and ShopPay.

  • LLC Protection: Because we are a registered California LLC, your transaction is handled with professional-grade security and encryption.

 

Step 5: After You Purchase (The Straw Cat Shipping Standard)

The moment you pay, our "Logistics Mode" kicks in. Here is what happens next:

  1. Preparation: I personally pull your cards and give them one final inspection. I will reach out personally if I believe the card condition does not match the stated condition being sold.

  2. Shipping Protection: Your cards are placed in penny sleeves and rigid top-loaders, then "armored" with cardboard inserts to prevent any bending.

  3. No Tape Residue: We use weak adhesive labels, so your top-loaders stay clean and sticky-free. Strong-adhesive labels may be used to secure toploaders to external protection, but never directly on the card itself.

  4. Tracking: You will receive an automated email with your tracking number the moment the label is printed. Most orders ship within 48 hours.

 

Step 6: Arrival & Feedback
